True enough, but 1) it'll certainly be better than the LFS-6.6/BLFS-6.3
I'm currently using, 2) *some* of the flaws, e.g. ShellShock, I don't
think apply because I'm not running an internet-facing server (even
though I did patch for it), 3) I no longer "leap tall buildings in a
single bound" (I'll try for two bounds), 4) *some* of the BLFS-6.3
packages have been updated, e.g. this is Firefox-15.0.1, 5) I have a
very strict firewall that prohibits lots of exploits, and finally 6) I
just don't *do* lots of stuff that would increase my "attack surface".

So you recommend 3.14? That gives me a goal. Thanks for your advice!
