        Then login in as user lfs





    my commands

    chmod -v a+wt $LFS/sources
    chown -v lfs $LFS/tools
    chown -v lfs $LFS/sources

    Post the output of   ls -l $LFS/sources and $LFS/tools
    and   echo $LFS

Should of been ls -l $LFS

But is that all that is in $LFS/sources?
