1.I have built LFS 7.6 with LFS 7.4 as host, but 7.6 fails to boot. After hitting the Grub-menu-item for 7.6 the system reboots. When I copy the 7.4-kernel and the system-map to the 7.6-built, the system boots all-right.
2.I copied 7.6 to a laptop: same result, but I see in a flash something like: "early console in decompress_kernel decompressing Linux ...." and than the system reboots. 3.I copied 7.6 to another desktop and surprise: the system boots fine into 7.6. I suppose it has something to do with the configuration of the kernel. But before I delve into the kernel-config-files, are there any suggestions where I can look for a solution?
