Bruce, my email address, like many in the UK, started out as googlemail
rather than gmail. I'm signed up with LFS and BLFS with the original
address. At first that address appeared in my posts, but now it always
shows as gmail, even though it is sent as googlemail. This wouldn't be a
problem if I was able to send as gmail, but doing this always triggers
moderation. What's the best way to link the googlemail address to the
gmail address?
Its just happened again :-(
I really don't know. It's nothing that we are doing. Can you just sign up
to gmail?
I am signed up to gmail. I have the choice of using the original @
googlmail.com or @gmail.com; either one works for me. However because I
signed up to LFS with the @googlemail.com address your mail system doesn't
recognise @gmail.com, and it goes to moderation, as if I'm not signed up to
the list. Is there any way for me to link the two addresses at your end,
so that your server recognises both @googlemail.com and @gmail.com as me?
Fixed on one list. I'll try to spot issues with the other lists as they come
up. However, if you get a reject, send me a personal email about it.
