There's a difference between a package manager and a package logger. I'm still a big fan of Paco/Porg, which is a package logger. I like its simplicity. It doesn't get in the way of anything else. It logs every package that's installed, and all the files that each package installs, together with the configure line that you used when building it. It also has a "remove" function. What's not to like?
