I think that was around the LFS-7.4 time, and I had to revert to yaboot-1.3.13 to get yaboot to build. Looks as if I used a couple of patches (-fix, and -ofpath_sata), I can forward those to you off-list if you like. The sata patch probably isn't needed unless you use the libata kernel driver.
