On my system (64-bit LFS-7.8, host LFS-7.7) this test hangs forever.
This happens regardless of whether the language patch is applied or
not. The test seems to be new; it didn't occur in coreutils-8.23.
If I do a sed to remove this test from Makefile.in, all other tests
are passed successfully.
The official LFS-7.8 log shows this test as passed normally.
Should this be reported upstream?
It ran for me OK, so it may be premature to report it. Can you find any
logs or look at the script to determine why it does not work for you?
I suspect it may be hanging on:
# Ensure standard output methods with inf start
seq inf inf | head -n2 | uniq > out || fail=1
test "$(wc -l < out)" = 1 || fail=1
Do you have all the virtual file systems mounted?
