I have followed every step right up to 6.17, when gcc-5.2.0 "make install" completed. gcc -v shows 'Using built-in specs' and gcc -dumpspecs | grep '/lib' produces:%{muclibc:/tools/lib/ld-uClibc.so.0;:%{mbionic:/system/bin/linker;:/tools/lib/ld-linux.so.2}} So the /tools crawled back from somewhere. I can confirm 6.10 adjusting the toolchain has been correctly performed and gcc -dumpspecs at that time was correct linked to /lib/ld-linux.so.2 I repeat everything in chapter 6, but the problem persists. Now the only thing I can do is to add an adjusted specs under /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/5.2.0/ But that does not seem to be a good solution.
Usually this means that the GCC source and/or build directory has been reused. Have you been removing all source and build directories after every installation?
