Lands sakes! I had just enough time to read this before heading out for the
day. All day long it was 'backticks not single quotes, backticks not single
quotes'

So here it is:

root:/sources# ldd `type -pa bunzip2`
/bin/bunzip2:
    linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007fff3ebff000)
    libbz2.so.1.0 => not found
    libc.so.6 => /tools/lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f5a24f7b000)
    /tools/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f5a2531c000)
/tools/bin/bunzip2:
    linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007fff196da000)
    libc.so.6 => /tools/lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f40c9ef0000)
    /tools/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f40ca291000)

Yeah. I just deleted the symlink and recreated and am getting the same
result.
