Hi,
I still use xman to view man pages, so I downloaded the latest version I
could find from
https://www.x.org/releases/individual/app/xman-1.1.4.tar.bz2
Compiled it and installed it like any other X application.
(note: my LFS version is SVN-20160622.)
The problem was that xman expects zsoelim to be in the path but, for
some obscure reason, man-db 2.7.5 now puts it in
/usr/libexec/man-db/zsoelim so it cannot be found.
I solved this by creating a symlink in /usr/bin/
