I did the same a couple of years ago with LFS 7.8, built on another desktop with a Intel-32 bits processor, without that kind of problem.

I can give more details, but maybe the above is enough for a hint where to look for a solution.
The compiler is probably looking for instruction sets it had available by the AMD CPU.

I could give more details, but the above should hint you enough to know where the fault is.
