yes (and it's annoying), but! when you run bash again, it will overwrite :) i assume there is some cache i don't know.

POC:

$ env | grep PATH
PATH=/home/rsm/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin
$ cp /bin/ln ~/bin
$ which ln
/bin/ln
$ bash
$ which ln
/home/rsm/bin/ln
