I have just completed this. The odd test failed that should have passed, and
the odd test passed that should have failed, but there were no major hitches
(apart from forgetting to install gawk after I had built it, with the result
that I had to rebuild a sizeable chunk of Chapter 6).

I have been bounced a lot lately and today I got kicked off the blfs support
list. I think you have my old googlemail address on both the lfs and blfs
lists, which the gmail pop3 server is increasingly snippy about accepting. The
correct version of the address is [email protected]. I shall re-register
for blfs, but I would be grateful if someone could correct the lfs
registration for me before I get kicked off that list too.
