Hey Guys,
I manged to install LXDE on the systemd version of LFS.
It took me two days.
Video is working sound is working etc BUT I seem to be able to boot only if
I use a localyesconfig kernel.IF i switch to a modular kernel I am dumped
in the initramfs.
I have tried doing lsmod | cut -d " " -f 1 >
/etc/modules-load.d/modules.conf hoping against hope that the system will
load the freaking modules but NO.
I need to have modules because I want to install VMWare player.
If i could install vbox or kvm with virt-manager then I wouldnt have any
problem because these modules are already incorporated(built-in) in the
kernel...
PLZZZZZZ HOW TO BOOT FROM MODULAR KERNEL???????????
Thanks al lot,
Andreas
