I have finally reached the stage where I need to make changes to the grub bootloader which will then bring up the LFS i have constructed. I did make the grub-img.iso file for precautionary purposes as stated. And just for the purposes of a sanity check I booted my system with this iso file. The bootup worked with this backup iso file and it got me to the grub prompt. But now how do we use this bootup to rectify the system ? What are we supposed to do, to bring back the system online and restore it to its previous state ? Also is there a way to revert back to my previous grub loader where I have the Ubuntu and Windows options to choose from once I am successfully done constructing LFS ?
