That could be because I have made some reindexing of the lfsbook, and had to make a small change of jhalfs to account for that. What is your jhalfs revision? It should work Ok with revision 4134. Now, it may be something else. Do you mean it fails during gcc-pass1? If it fails at some "intl" target, I'd check whether the --disable-nls has been generated.
