Hi, I have encountered an error during the LFS installation steps. While compiling the gcc-pass1 there came up the following errors: undefined reference to 'fcntl64'collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit statusmake[3]: *** [../../gcc/c/Make-lang.in:85: cc1] Error 1make[3]: Leaving directory '/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-9.2.0/build/gcc'make[2]: *** [Makefile:4660: all-stage2-gcc] Error 2make[2]: Leaving directory '/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-9.2.0/build/gcc'make[1]: *** [Makefile:21657: stage2-bubble] Error 2make[1]: Leaving directory '/mnt/lfs/sources/gcc-9.2.0/build/gcc'make: *** [Makefile:947: all] Error 2 First I thought it was not a major problem so I continued on to chapter 6 but suffice to say when initiating the chroot (step 6.4) it was not able to move over from the livecd. Traced the problems back to Bash and gcc-pass-2 and (finally) gcc-pass1. So they all seem to be related. Highly appreciate prompt responses.
Best Regards, Stan
