I've just setup my home network such that I have a home
directory on a server machine. Lftp spits out locking errors
as below when I do something that requires it to lock a file
        (e.g. bookmarks, history etc).

/home/cae/.lftp/bookmarks: lock for reading failed, trying to read anyway

I am running Linux 2.4.2 with the kernel NFS daemon (same on
client and server). Is there any way to get locking to work
properly for lftp in this configuration? It *does* work
properly on my NFS mounted home directory at work (Solaris),
but I may have compiled lftp with different options on that
        box, I can't recall.

        Thanks!
