You know, I have a feeling that there is an easy answer to this.. But
maybe it's just not clear to me.
the mirror option, has a -P option, for multiple threads.. --parallel=N
But.. That doesn't work.. at least not in my version 2.3.10 on solaris x86
You can use "mirror -P remotedir localdir" and it'll fork 3 parallel
grabs.. But the usage of "--parallel" doesn't work at all.. and "-P=7" or
"-P 7" doesn't work either..
Our horrible cable modem provider limits each ftp connection to 20kbps
but our bandwidth cap is 1.5mbps .. So I can fork 20 ftp connections, and
move data a hell of a lot faster..
Any ideas?
