Hello,
I'm trying to use the fish protocol (ftp over ssh).
server: linux redhat 7.1 i686, pure-ftpd 1.0.1, openssh 2.9p2 (only protocol
v2 activated)
client: linux redhat 7.1 i686, lftp 2.4.0
>From the man-page of lftp:
"Fish is a protocol working over an ssh connection. Only ssh
connections without password are currently supported."
So I've copied the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys2 to the users homedir on the
server to be able to "connect without a password" (from the man-page above).
I've tried to use ssh with ssh_agent and login to the server without any
problems.
Now I've change the /etc/passwd on the server to _not_ let the user do
normal shell-logins. I want to only give ftp-access with fish:
myuser:x:500:500::/ftp:/bin/true
Also I've listed /bin/true in /etc/shells .
But how to connect with fish-protocol? How should I specify it so lftp will
use it? By default it seem to use normal ftp. Sorry if this is a very stupid
question.
Best regards,
Jonap
