checking my output again i saw that the PASV and PORT command was always used only on server 1 (means PASV on server 1 and PORT on server 2). lftp never tried to set the connection up in the other way (PASV on server 2 and port on server 1). it seems the passive destination-setup-method uses the wrong setting. (it is hard to tell which command was sent on which server).
