* encrypted FXP is now supported with CPSV or SSCN
commands.
* new setting ftp:ssl-protect-fxp (default is no).
Thank you for finally implementing secure FXP.
With ftp:ssl-protect-fxp=yes FXP'ing,
-from glftpd 1.32_Linux+TLS to RaidenFTPd or
-from BlackMoon (ftp.smartftp.com) to RaidenFTPd
doesn't seem to work. It's like this:
---> TYPE I
<--- 200 Type set to IMAGE.
---> CPSV
<--- 502 CPSV is not implemented.
---> QUIT
But it works with SmartFTP client in both cases above.
A bit of info about SmartFTP client and secure FXP (in
my understanding so please correct me if I'm wrong),
it only supports SSCN and not CPSV. It can do secure
FXP between SSCN-enabled server (e.g., RaidenFTPd,
BlackMoon) and any server that supports ftps no matter
it supports SSCN or not. So with SmartFTP it's
possible to do secure FXP between RaidenFTPd on one
side and RaidenFTPd (supports SSCN only) or glftpd
(supports CPSV only) or even Serv-U 4.x (supports
neither SSCN or CPSV) on the other. But it can't do
secure FXP between, for example, Serv-U and Serv-U,
glftpd and glftpd, glftpd and Serv-U, because neither
one of the two supports SSCN.
I haven't tested secure FXP between two servers of the
same server software using this version of lftp yet.
Cheers,
Rob.
