Alexander,

First off, thanks for the great software. I have been making use of it
for some time now and really appreciate the features and simple
interface of it; most importantly for me, the mirror option is a real
time-saver.

I am writing to ask you about a bug I have been experiencing in Debian
with lftp. I do not know if the Debian package manager has been in
touch with you but I thought I would raise your attention to this
problem and ask if this is something you have heard in other bug reports
before. When receiving a directory listing from a TLS server I get an
error that a packet of unexpected length is received at the end of the
transmission. The Debian project has an outstanding bug report on this
issue at: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=320871

This is a problem for me as I'm now in a situation where I must
communicate with the server over TLS and so I'm trying to instigate a
solution. Unfortunately, all of my computers are Debian based and so I
have limited testing range. I have compiled from the sources directly
off of the official website and still experience this error.

Any ideas, help or insight would be very much appreciated,
Andrew
