lftp - retrieve same file in parallel from multiple hosts?

Is the above (or COULD the above :) ) be possible?

i.e.:

lftpget ftp1.com/somefile ftp2.com/somefile

as it seems that the present "-P" option gives the
possibility only to open multiple connections on
one host.
