Hi all,
I've had lftp for a while but have only just now gotten to
the point where I need to do something with it for some clients,
mirroring a directory from some 5 geographically separated FTP
servers to a central server & looking for some advice on syntax if
someone could offer some help please.
Essentially, what I need to do is mirror the directories in
question daily & synchronise with the central server's copies of each
of these, removing any files which are no longer resident.
I have looked over the man pages, but I don't understand what
format or options I should use. Once I get the format correct, I can
then duplicate these & add them into a cron job.
Each of the servers has a separate username & password, so I
wonder could someone offer some help please with what I need to use
as a command to achieve the above requirements. Many thanks for any
assistance.
