Hi

I'm using your lftp program to grab files on a server in the U.S. and
transfer them to Ireland.

The commad we use:
lftp --parallel=2 --use-pget -n=200 -v -r -c "open sftp://<ip
address>/d10004/oradata/THIDS/archive_log/; pget -n 10 $x; exit"

One of the problems we have run into is that many ssh connections are
opened on the "source" box <ip address> designation and never closed.

We've had problems such that the source server is brought to its knees -
UNIX process table gets full I guess.

Is there a way to avoid this?

I've looked all over and have never found anything like this in my
research.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

P.S. Other than the gazillion ssh connections, this is a great
program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
