Hi,
Lib3dsNode and Lib3dsMesh structures have
Lib3dsUserData structure, but do not have user_id and user_ptr fields.
If user_id and user_ptr fields equal Lib3dsUserData structure you can 
look at the player example to check the usage of Lib3dsUserData.
