I've copied the code from VLC sources. Now Process explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653) shows that GPU memory is used, and CPU load is the same as was earlier, but part of it is for the kernel mode (marked with red color). GPU load is still 0%. DXVAChecker also doesn't show any activity.
However, VLC uses some GPU resources. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time yet to study all functions, related to the DXVA 2 and didn't grasp the whole picture of the DXVA. Could anyone point me to the right direction? Why doesn't my application use GPU? Is it because it doesn't use decoded pictures? -- View this message in context: http://libav-api.1054858.n5.nabble.com/libav-api-How-do-I-use-DXVA2-hardware-acceleration-tp5001199p5004231.html Sent from the libav-api mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ libav-api mailing list [email protected] https://lists.libav.org/mailman/listinfo/libav-api
