Jason loudly complained on irc about this change, if somebody else wants default stripping back please tell. Consider that we are trying to make the build system leaner and supporting strip over different platforms isn't that immediate. Other build systems do not strip by default and --disable-debug or passing -s as --extra-ldflags provides an alternate way to achieve stripping in a transparent way. That said, probably we wrongly considered this change good, don't be afraid to tell us and if needed we'll revert it. lu -- Luca Barbato Gentoo/linux http://dev.gentoo.org/~lu_zero _______________________________________________ libav-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.libav.org/mailman/listinfo/libav-devel
