Not really, you need to get one side working and then work on the other,
if you can get samples you are able to get the demuxer part done w/out
having any clue on how the muxer works.
If you want to make a muxer you need to make so the main implementation
works (silverlight I guess).
Probably both might be something the moonlight people would like to
leverage.
In general
Segmented stream demuxing needs:
- the base demuxer able to demux a single segment
- playlist support in place to join the segment
Segmented stream muxing needs:
- base muxer
- segmenter
From what I read so far seems a twist over dash and again a horrible way
to misuse mov, so we'll need to improve our mov muxer and demuxer before
even thinking about natively support that format.
lu - why people can't just use mkv?
