Hi, upon popular request, I think its time to do another beta release for what's going to end in the 0.8 release. After updating the RELEASE file, what's left to do is:
- decide on a release codename for the 0.8 series - check Changelog - put an annotated tag - roll tarballs - announce on the website. Help for any of these steps is greatly appreciated. please speak up if you are interested in helping out with releases.
