Note for others: this does test the decoder; but does so by encoding into another format, because we have no "rawvideo -> framecrc" or audio-equivalent of that for subtitle codecs. We have CODEC_ID_TEXT for textual subtitle codecs, but nothing for bitmap subtitle codecs, such as xsub. Therefore, it encodes to dvdsub/dvbsub as a check instead. Lcov now shows that the codec is tested, but it's not ideal yet.
