Yeah, that'd be possible. I'll don't intend to start working on that
right now, it seems not out of the world to me.

Well, debian does ship the 0.5 branch in their current stable release,
so does Ubuntu. So I'd say there is a pretty considerable amount of
machines out there running this code.
