So I updated both mplayer and ffmpeg to the latest version (though Archlinux's AUR package mplayer2-git and ffmpeg-git). The message persisted after that, so I uploaded a file called Sample.mp4 (2.1 MB) to the provided URL.
I'm not really good with the way it works, if it is mplayer or ffmpeg that is concerned (although I'd say it is the latter), so here is information about both:
