Beside having a good scaffold we could fill in later? I like to be
surprised but that's what I'd expect.
The project should help us factoring the monster h264.c and possibly
making it more rational so hvec could be implemented leveraging in a
more efficient way the h264 bits, but I doubt somebody could get a whole
implementation done in 2-4 months w/out it:
- having the spec changed in an incompatible way 2 days after the
project is deemed done
- having a living hell merging the whole thing since it desynced from
the main branch for a number of reason.
- other legit reasons to not complete and have it usable then
So I'd be happy if we at least try to get in the right direction in a
way showing some improvements.
