The previous incarnation of this patch was not really rejected. You said: Let me think about this. Remind me again tomorrow. That was on September 20th last year, which turns today into the 382nd tomorrow. In the meantime everybody is running custom hacked-up fate.sh scripts for their build-only instances. Martin even sent a similar patch in the meantime, duplicating my - admittedly limited - work. This is not a change that will cause maintenance headaches going forward. Your choice of "dd" or "C-k C-k" editor commands will remove it again...
