Well the API is annoying to work with. I would like to capture fields and have access to HANC so I can extract audio at its native bitdepth. Their QA process seems totally bizzare - they had a (imo) serious bug where all captured a/v was out of sync; they keep telling me the bug hasn't been fixed, though I now get audio back in sync with more recent drivers. I was thinking of going as far as writing my own open source drivers but I'd still be dependent on their firmware. Regrettably there are no better cards out there.
