Lovely code such as motion_est can easily be overlooked and we might
have some horror waiting for being triggered.
I'm all for fixing user-reported issues, if you mean that for real, but
I wouldn't discount static-analysis reports as imaginary w/out having
looked at them.
I agree, we shouldn't. Which is why I look at the surrounding code. In
this specific case, the problem is imaginary.
