No it is not, the best solution is to have both tls implementations
selectable at runtime and have clear that those libraries are used not
just for the tls support.

Since nobody will have time to address that and that I doubt there are
users dying for having it, I won't stop this patch.

The Gentoo ebuild will just prioritize over one or the other as it
happens to other packages.
