1. it turns out the elementary stream size is not the issue, TS REader is just reading information from the original.
2. We've moved to version 0.9 with no difference 3. We've gotten 90% there with the addition of the -muxrate option after mpegts. The ASI card we're using is set to insert null packets. The last remaining problem is an occasional "_dts_ < _pcr_, _TS is invalid" _that throws it out of sync after about 6 hours. Do you have any tricks on calculating the -muxrate parameter to give us a constant bitrate and eliminate the dts < pcr problem? Michael R.
