Maybe my information was out of date! That would be good news.
I seem to remember finding hard coded 4096 limits
They were removed some time ago.
(Those limits where never codec-related.)
in various places.
Where are you seeing that 8k is supported?
I tested it.
Can you point me to a such a file to test with ?
