Forgot to add: what happens when you disable gas in the line above is that
configure will fallback to the "--as=" setting through the following lines:
3716: if enabled asm; then
3717: as=${gas:=$as} # when no gas, use $as (--as=)
What do you say, shall we submit the xbmx patch to FFmpeg-devel or do you
think there is a better solution to this problem?
