Yes, and mine also shows it properly. However only when I don't set sws_scale to return YUVJ422P but YUV422P only. ffplay, for example, always works with YUV420P as yuv format. It does let sws_scale do the translation. I wanted to verify that YUVJ422P is not handled natively by any player. Never mind me. I am being too correct.
