Hi Carl, thank you for the suggestion. For some reason, I thought that mpegts is not seekable at all. I've tested it though and seeking worked in all players that I've tested so far. One of the tested players had a problem with playback speed though. But it's probably a bug in the player.
Unfortunately, it works only for h264. I'm able to mux mjpeg content using mpegts but players are not able to handle it for some reason.
