I know an excellent and quite fast software called "MPEG Streamclip", which handles all sorts of formats and codecs, including ProRes. http://www.squared5.com/
- From what i can tell, it seems to be a VERY closely relative to DNxHD, bitrates and filesizes are almost identical, and transcoding between the two is done really really fast, even for large (2-10 Gig) files. Maybe it's not that hard to implement after all, since there already is support for dnxhd? Anyway, I have files for you to play around with but the ftp seems not to hold the incoming directory any more. |I was looking for: ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming/ My sample is roughly 146 MB. If you tell me where to put it, i'll be happy to upload it.
