Hi.

After some time of using ffmpeg, I noticed an issue which others probably
have also encountered, and hopefully solved.

When I seek using either VLC or QuickTime in movies encoded by
libavcodec/ffmpeg, I often see the quickly moving objects leaving trails and
pixalating.

For example, I have media with cars moving on highway on a fast speed. When
I seek within this movie, I see the cars leaving trails of themselves, which
are quickly erased by new frames. Also, the video quite pixalates after I
seeked, and fixed within several few seconds.

When I playing back the media normally, without any seeking, I see the cars
moving just fine.

I believe it happens due to combimation of used gop (i.e. keyframe
interval?) and the fact that I use low bandwith, about 200 Kbps.

Can some one advice what could be done in this case?

Regards.
