Howdy. I'm trying to write a small program that will capture mp3 stream from live555, sent via rtsp (or http but from another server). I understand live555 provides a small receiver; however I noticed avcodec handles rtsp and http as well. So the question is, does libav provide a function that will read http/rtsp mp3 stream and decode it? Or must I do both by myself, receive rtsp/http, buffer it and then decode it (in another thread)?
