I was able to successfully compile ffmpeg with h264 support. Using the produced libs I can also create mp4 container with h264 video and aac audio. However the outputed video clip does not seem to be "valid" while it is beeing written. It becomes valid at the end of the encoding ( when av_write_trailer gets called ).
