Dear all, I'm trying to develop a H.264 baseline profile decoder with OpenMAX DL<http://www.khronos.org/openmax/>. I'd love to use ffmpeg parser in my program. I'm quite new to ffmpeg lib. Thus, I don't understand the data-flow path of avcodec_decode_video function very clearly. Is it using baseline profile by default? And what is actually stored in packet.data and packet.size in Dranger's Tutorial 1 <http://www.dranger.com/ffmpeg/tutorial01.html>?
avcodec_decode_video <http://www.dranger.com/ffmpeg/functions.html#avcodec_decode_video>(pCodecCtx, pFrame, &frameFinished,packet.data, packet.size); If you had any experience in such aspect, could you help me some advise or suggestion please?
