Does that mean you need to find the duration of an individual VOB file,
or the whole DVD, then? Is there not something in the "IFO" file?
(Someone else should be able to help, there)

Ah, sorry, should have specified.

It is an MPEG2-PS stream - (straight from a commercial DVD).
